Job Description

This leading Property Organisation requires a Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer to join an expanding team that plays a key role in their data-driven decision-making transformation. You will help improve data quality, access, and literacy, transforming raw data into actionable insights to drive change and meet customer needs while creating positive social impact.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical approach to business insights reporting through database development, reusable data assets, data collection processes, and strategies to optimize efficiency and integrity.
  • Oversee and develop existing business insight reports.
  • Create analyses, reports, dashboards, and insights using various tools to empower stakeholders with data-driven improvements.
  • Perform data extractions for regulatory returns and external data delivery.
  • Conduct quantitative data analysis to interpret trends and inform strategic decisions.
  • Address ad-hoc reporting needs promptly and provide guidance on data queries.
  • Maintain understanding of key business software and stay updated on emerging technologies.
  • Train colleagues on dashboard and report utilization to foster data literacy.

The Successful Candidate

Essential skills include proficiency in SQL, Excel, Power BI, and DAX. Knowledge of Python and R is desirable. Experience with cloud platforms like Snowflake or Databricks, expertise in T-SQL, databases, ETL frameworks, data mining, and data segmentation are important. Ability to build reusable data models, handle raw data, and interpret performance data with strong analytical and visualization skills are required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex data for non-specialists are essential.
