Our client is seeking a skilled and data-drivenDigital Product Analystto join their Regulation and Digital Transformation directorate. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual passionate about using data and user insights to shape innovative digital products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet user needs and strategic goals through analytics, research, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis: Collect and interpret complex data from user interactions, surveys, and logs using tools such as Excel, SQL, and PowerBI. Create visualisations and reports to inform design and strategic decisions.
  • User Research: Conduct user research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing. Develop personas and journey maps to guide development.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document product requirements, facilitating workshops and drafting detailed specifications and user stories.
  • Market and Performance Analysis: Monitor product KPIs, research market trends and competitors, and identify opportunities for innovation and optimisation.
  • Product Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive product documentation including research findings, performance reports, and market analysis summaries.
  • Collaboration: Work with digital product owners, designers, developers, and wider IT and business teams to ensure product vision and execution align with user and business needs.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a product analyst role with direct user support and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualisation and analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI, Excel, SQL).
  • Experience conducting user research and delivering actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Agile project delivery and documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria).
  • Working knowledge of industry analytics tools and AI/machine learning applications such as Microsoft CoPilot or generative AI (desirable).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in non-technical terms.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and provide user training.
