X4 Technology are offering the opportunity for a Business Analyst to come and work alongside a fast growing Energy & Commodity trading company who are embarking on multiple exciting long-term projects.

As the Business Analyst you will:

• Provide reporting and tooling business analysis & testing services with a focus on Front Office & Risk functions.
• Support in business change activities in London with LNG, Coal and Risk Teams.
• Provide support in Programme Test activities and the definition of test scenarios.

Day to Day Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

• Understand Front Office and Risk reports & their data requirements in Topaz, DataBricks/PBI.
• Understand potential manual adjustment processes for Market Risk teams as part of Derivatives go-live. Support from London where necessary
• Build and design data rulesets to transform Topaz Valuation data into the right target reporting.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to build the target reporting and data transformations.
• Provide reporting interface for Front Office stakeholders in London.
• Perform functional feature testing and acceptance.
• Define test scenarios and test cases
• Look to understand Topaz with the ability to review valuation results
• Act as a handover point for offshore functional team where required.
