Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis:Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions to identify improvement opportunities and support operational efficiency.
  • Functional Backlog Creation:Translate business requirements into a functional backlog for technical teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management:Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation setting, and alignment of deliverables with business objectives. Strong focus on maintaining collaboration between business and technical teams.
  • Insurance Industry Focus (Preferred):Apply industry knowledge to ensure solutions are aligned with regulatory and operational standards specific to the insurance sector.
  • Requirements Gathering:Work closely with business and technical teams to gather detailed requirements, ensuring clarity and thorough understanding across departments.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of processes, business requirements, and user stories, ensuring clear traceability for technical teams and project stakeholders.
  • Agile Delivery:Support Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Experience:2-4 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on process analysis, backlog creation, and stakeholder management. Experience in the insurance sector is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
    • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and the ability to work within Agile delivery teams.
    • Basic understanding of data systems and ability to liaise effectively with technical teams.
  • Project Management:Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, coordinating with various departments to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Soft Skills:Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Problem-solving and analytical thinking are essential.
  • Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
