Job description
Pertemps Manchester are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator for our prestigous client based in Preston. This is a permenant position for the right candidate with an imediate start date.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the senior leadership team by delivering data-driven insights that shape business strategies. You will work closely with the Analytics Manager and collaborate with multiple departments to drive informed decision-making.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 
                    09:00 - 17:30

Salary: £25,000 


Key Responsibilities:

• Handle large telecom datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Assist senior analysts in developing reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.
• Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and extractions to support strategic decision-making.
• Present key insights to senior leadership across all business functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
• Contribute to the automation of reporting processes and data workflows.
• Extract data from internal systems, perform quantitative analyses, and generate meaningful insights.
• Manage and execute critical processes that support commercial and operational efficiency, such as market benchmarking, budgeting, and sales analytics.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in working with large data sets.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to organise, manipulate, and analyse data effectively.
• Ability to apply structured and logical thinking to solve routine and complex data-related challenges.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in data analytics.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Familiarity with sales KPIs and experience in creating reports from extracted data.
• Basic knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Internship or academic experience in data-driven roles.
