BoM Controller & Analyst

Location: Daventry

Contract Basis: Long-Term Ongoing

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Day shift

This is your chance to join a globally admired luxury automotive brand, renowned for its handcrafted restorations and uncompromising attention to detail. Based at a state-of-the-art facility near Daventry, you will collaborate with master craftsmen and engineers to help deliver bespoke vehicles of extraordinary quality.

This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to make your mark as a BoM Controller & Analyst at the heart of an elite automotive build programme.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a highly organised and detail-focused BoM Controller & Analyst to take ownership of structured, multi-level Bills of Materials (BoMs) for exclusive, low-volume vehicle builds. This role is central to the coordination between UK-based teams and our California HQ, ensuring data integrity across the full build lifecycle.

You’ll be working with large-scale BoMs containing up to 4,500 individual components per car, supporting engineering change control, build validation, and structured handover to production. If you thrive in a collaborative and fast-moving environment, with a passion for structured data and precision, this is your perfect next step.

Key Responsibilities as a BoM Controller & Analyst:

Create, structure, and maintain large-scale, multi-level BoMs—ranging from 4,000 to 4,500 parts per vehicle.
Manage multiple BoMs simultaneously with consistency and accuracy.
Ensure that each BoM reflects the specific and often bespoke configuration of every car.
Collaborate on engineering change processes (ECRs/ECNs) and version control in partnership with global teams.
Support physical build validation and resolve discrepancies between digital records and actual assemblies.
Liaise directly with US-based technical teams to maintain configuration control and support smooth handover to UK production.
Systems & Process Control

Maintain BoMs within PLM/ERP systems, ensuring structured data integrity at all times.
Analyse product data to support scheduling, cost management, and supply chain visibility.
Drive continuous improvement in BoM control processes, reporting tools, and workflows.
Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for automotive excellence and brings:

Previous experience in BoM management, product data control, or configuration roles—preferably in automotive, but complex manufacturing (e.g. aerospace, marine, motorsport, defence) also considered.
Experience working in low-volume manufacturing environments is essential.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, build manuals, and change management workflows.
Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale or highly detailed BoMs simultaneously.
Proficiency in PLM and ERP systems, alongside strong Excel/data analysis skills.
Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
Confident communicator—able to work with cross-functional teams across time zones.
Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional early evening Teams calls with US teams.
A relevant qualification in Engineering, Automotive, or Manufacturing disciplines.
Bonus: Knowledge of classic car architecture, particularly Porsche 911 (air-cooled), or experience with premium/luxury vehicle brands.
Working Hours

Flexible working arrangements offered: standard hours 7:30am–4:15pm Monday to Friday, or alternatives such as 8am–5pm, aligned with workshop operations.
Role is site-based with flexibility around core hours to support US liaison where needed.
Your Contract & Pay:

Join the team on an ongoing contracting basis, paying in the region of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum. This position is offered Inside IR35, and your final Pay Rate will be uplifted to be paid via an Umbrella PAYE Payroll Model.
