We’re seeking a Bioprocessing Scientist to join a leading-edge GMP-compliant facility focused on the production of sterile gene therapy products. This role is perfect for someone with a strong grasp of aseptic techniques, a commitment to quality, and a drive to make a difference in next-generation therapeutics.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute GMP-compliant manufacturing processes, following SOPs and best aseptic practices

  • Operate within cleanroom environments to ensure contamination-free production of sterile gene therapy products

  • Carry out environmental monitoring and routine facility cleaning

  • Monitor and maintain GMP facility conditions to support safe, compliant manufacturing

  • Perform stock checks, manage inventory, and support ordering and receipt of raw materials

  • Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated according to established protocols

  • Report procedural deviations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support technology transfer of new processes into manufacturing as needed

  • Participate in production planning to ensure timely and complete delivery of products

  • Aseptic Processing: Proficient in sterile techniques and cross-contamination prevention

  • Organisational Awareness: Cost-conscious with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage resources effectively

  • Quality Focus: Committed to maintaining GMP standards, data integrity, and documentation excellence

  • Teamwork & Motivation: Collaborative with a high level of initiative and perseverance

    What You'll Need:

  • A BTEC HNC/HND, degree in a scientific discipline with lab components, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally within biologics or aseptic environments.

  • Sound understanding of GMP principles and documentation practices.

  • Comfortable with sample prep, analysis, and numeracy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is desirable.
