BI Team Leader

Annual Salary: £45,000 (negotiable)
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a proactive BI Team Leader to lead our team of business intelligence developers and analysts. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering BI solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and ensuring the timely delivery of BI reports, dashboards, and analytics. Day-to-day of the role:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
BI Solution Design: Work closely with business stakeholders to design scalable BI solutions that meet business objectives, defining reporting requirements and visualization techniques.
Development and Implementation: Manage the development, testing, and deployment of BI solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and security guidelines.
Data Analysis and Modelling: Analyze business data to identify trends and insights, develop data models, and design schemas to support BI reporting and analysis.
BI Tools and Technologies: Evaluate and implement BI tools and technologies, configuring tools like Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView to meet specific requirements.
Collaboration and Communication: Ensure alignment of BI solutions with business objectives by collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
Documentation and Training: Document BI solutions and provide training to business users on BI tools and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in a BI development role with strong knowledge of BI concepts and technologies.
Leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve goals.
Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
Proficiency in SQL, database design, and data manipulation.
Experience with Azure Cloud technologies and schemaless databases like Mongo, Cosmos, etc.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering high-quality BI solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements.
