BI Developer / Data Analyst (Power BI)

About the Role

An established food manufacturer and supplier is implementing their first-ever ERP system, focusing on four key modules: Manufacturing, Compliance, Reliability, and Learning. Each module will take approximately 4–6 months to complete.

To support this greenfield ERP implementation, they are seeking a skilled BI Developer/Analyst to join the team and lead all aspects of BI development on-site. This role involves working closely with the in-house IT team and external partners to develop, maintain, and enhance BI dashboards and reporting systems integrated with the new ERP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports delivering actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external implementation partners throughout the ERP rollout and ongoing system maintenance.
  • Develop robust data pipelines and write advanced SQL queries for ETL processes and data analysis.
  • Migrate and integrate data between systems to ensure seamless communication and reporting.
  • Continuously monitor and improve BI tools post-ERP implementation.
  • Analyse large datasets to uncover trends supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and automation of workflows to maintain reliability and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Intelligence Developer specializing in Power BI.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain sophisticated BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Strong expertise in SQL for designing complex queries and ETL pipelines.
  • Skilled at analysing and interpreting large datasets to deliver meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience gathering and translating business requirements.
  • Experience with ERP systems and data migration projects is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing, Compliance, Reliability, and Learning modules is advantageous.
