You will be required to perform “Business as usual” or Project implementations including design, build and system deployments, including troubleshooting, security and configuration changes.

This may either be based from a multi-client delivery centre or at client sites for extended periods when required.

As an Azure Cloud Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Working predominantly with Azure Databricks to create data pipelines.
  2. Ensuring data quality and implementing ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.
  3. Performing independently and becoming a subject matter expert (SME).
  4. Developing innovative data solutions to optimize data generation, collection, and processing.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.

In our team, we are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Data Engineer with:

  1. Experience in development and administration of ETL processes in Azure cloud environment.
  2. Troubleshooting issues, working with and managing third-party vendors, and aiding internal and external customers.
  3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  4. Engaging with multiple teams and contributing to key decisions.
  5. Providing solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
  6. Ensuring data privacy and security in all data-driven interfaces.

Set yourself apart:

  1. Good knowledge of SQL/Python/PySpark development.
  2. Proven understanding of Azure cloud principles & Azure DevOps.
  3. Understanding of SQL optimization best practices.
  4. Understanding of data quality principles and best practices.
