About the Company

We are working closely with the UK office of a leading international market intelligence company which specialises in Automotive aftersales: passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and motorcycles. Following several years of strong growth, they are looking for an experienced Automotive Account Manager with a commercial profile to join their London based team.

About the Role

Working closely with the UK Country Director, day-to-day responsibilities for the Automotive Account Manager will include:

  • Understanding client objectives, challenges, and requirements to deliver customised solutions;



Ensuring client satisfaction and identifying commercial opportunities;

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Automotive aftersales sector;

*

Developing strategies to expand the client base;

*

Preparing commercial proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs;

*

Overseeing the production, delivery and presentation of qualitative and quantitative market research projects commissioned by clients;

*

Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle;

*

Being curious about new technologies, trends and challenges in the Automotive industry and especially in aftersales

*

Contributing to the development of new product and services for the company.

About You

In order to be in with a shot at securing this exciting and varied Account Manager role, you will need the following:

* A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or a related field;

* Perfect oral and written English;

* Strong business acumen and understanding of Automotive aftersales processes

* Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills;

* The ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;

* 5+ years of experience in the Automotive industry, with a focus on aftersales, business development, or account management;

* A proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering successful projects.

Additionally, experience of working with OEMs, dealers, or automotive consultancy firms is highly desirable, as is Market Research or consulting experience.

What's on Offer

* Basic salary - £45k - 60k pa, depending on experience

* Workplace pension scheme: equivalent to 3% of qualifying earnings.

* Annual holiday entitlement: 25 days

* Bonus upon target achievement

* Potential to grow role into Country Director within the next 2-3 years
