The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Audience Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and ongoing integrity of our audience data for sophisticated marketing and outreach campaigns, with the overall goal of supporting revenue generation (via ticket sales) for our Women’s summits. In addition, the role will provide deep analysis (e.g. retention rates, channel performance etc.) and insights to optimise sales and marketing efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of data analytics, customer segmentation, and business intelligence tools, such as Salesforce and Tableau/Power BI.

The Responsibilities

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Collect, QC, and structure CRM data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy:

o   Tracking updated contact details (e.g. people moves among firms),

o   Taking full ownership of bespoke data research projects to enrich our CRM data.

  • Create automated dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present insights and campaign attribution.
  • Partner with internal teams to embed measurement thinking into every campaign.

Customer Segmentation & Analysis:

  • Analyse customer demographics, behaviours, and purchasing patterns to identify key segments and improve targeting and personalisation.
  • Initiate sales opportunities / leads by navigating accounts and hunting for qualified prospects, cleaning leads, collaborating with marketing and sales as appropriate, and ensuring that data collection across various forms and touch points are optimised for lead generation.
  • Perform statistical analyses to measure segmentation effectiveness.

Campaign Optimisation & Insights:

  • Analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and sales efforts across customer segments, including creating KPIs around new data and added / created leads.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve engagement, conversion rates and ROI.
  • Identify new market opportunities and trends based on data insights.
  • Support CRM initiatives by refining lead-scoring models and customer journey mapping.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a marketing operations role, CRM, or campaign management insights/ research role, preferably within a fast-paced business environment
  • Proven experience working with marketing data analysis and metrics, including tracking, lead scoring and attribution and customer segmentation
  • Strong proficiency in the use of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms as well as data visualisation tools, such as Power BI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work confidently as part of a team and build effective working relationships across the organisation, to provide an excellent level of customer care
  • Able to be discrete and to deal appropriately with confidential information, whilst exercising tact, and diplomacy
  • Able to prioritise work and adapt to competing demands and deadlines
  • Organised approach to work, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills – able to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions to be able to present data issues and contribute to their resolution
  • Experienced in data storytelling and delivering data insights to a variety of audiences, such as B2B marketing and sales teams
  • Can demonstrate resilience and remain calm under pressure, particularly when dealing with difficult situations
  • Can work well with minimal supervision, within defined parameters, demonstrating initiative and the ability to be proactive
  • Good level of proficiency in MS Office products, i.e. Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and competent in the use of online video conference platforms, such as MS Teams & Google Meet.
  • Undertake research and ad hoc special projects, as needed, or other duties that may from time to time be necessary
