Job Title: Associate Partner - Private Equity (PE)

Location: London, UK (with willingness to travel within Europe and UK)

Role Overview: We are seeking senior consultants at the Associate Partner level to join our growing consulting team, based out of our London office, with a focus on Private Equity clients, and portfolio companies owned by them.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in management consulting, with expertise in areas such as business transformation, technology led transformation, business and data analytics, and complex program management for private-equity (PE) backed mid-cap / large-cap players across industry sectors.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills who can bridge deals, management, organizational, process, and IT domains to deliver actionable insights and drive successful transformation outcomes for our clients, as well as understanding of how Private Equity (PE) owned companies think about value creation, payback periods on technology initiatives and a bias to speed.

You will play a key role in business development and sales to PE sponsors and C-suite executives at their portfolio companies, designing and delivering transformation programs, aligning strategy with execution, and supporting clients in reshaping their business to meet future challenges.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients, helping them define and achieve their transformation objectives

Work with private equity sponsors, management teams at PE-owned companies, program strategy leads to translate business strategies into practical technology initiatives and transformation roadmaps, supported by organizational models, process redesign, and business cases

*

Analyze business processes, organizational structures, and data to identify opportunities for improvement and develop actionable recommendations

*

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executive level client stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored, impactful solutions

*

Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including technology, process, and change management — to deliver integrated transformation programs

*

Synthesize insights into clear, compelling management presentations (primarily in PowerPoint) as proposals, and to facilitate decision-making and prioritization

*

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery

*

Mentor junior colleagues, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence

Skills and qualifications:

*

Extensive experience in consulting, ideally from a top-tier management consulting firm, internal consulting team. Proven ability to manage and deliver complex transformation projects

*

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

*

Strong understanding of packaged technology solutions from leading providers – ERP, HCM, CRM, and the enabling IT and data infrastructures – SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.

*

Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business and technology problems into clear, actionable insights and persuasive presentations

*

Strong written communication skills, including crafting PowerPoint decks and c-suite ready communication – structuring, storylining, pyramid principle, formatting; our consulting professionals are expected to be hands-on

*

Awareness of and experience with the cultural, leadership, and organizational change aspects of transformation programs, recognizing these as critical success factors

*

Fluent in English (other European language familiarity / fluency preferred)

*

Willingness to travel within UK and Europe as needed

Preferred Years of Experience:

*

3-5 years of experience for Senior Consultant, 6+ years of total work experience for Engagement Manager – most of it should be in a consulting or line manager role.
