Asset Management Data Analyst

Location:Basingstoke (1 day per month)

Salary:£35,000 - £40,000

A forward-thinking organisation is looking for an Asset Management Data Analyst to support business-critical asset management functions across housing maintenance, facilities management, and public sector contracts. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing asset data, planned maintenance regimes, and business process improvements, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and compliance. You’ll play a key role in supporting system migrations, new contract mobilisations, and ongoing data verification projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong data skills and asset management experience, looking to make an impact in a fast-moving environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working with contract teams to gather, cleanse, and input asset data into business systems. Supporting data migration and mobilisation projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Acting as the go-to expert on asset management best practices and guidelines.
• Maintaining asset hierarchies and planned maintenance (PPM) regimes.
• Providing ongoing data support, ensuring systems are correctly configured with asset and maintenance data.
• Managing and maintaining tickets and requests, ensuring all changes are actioned within SLA targets.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance the asset management service.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in asset management, ideally within a facilities management environment. Excellent data analysis and manipulation skills – proficient in Excel for handling large datasets. Understanding of asset hierarchies and planned maintenance regimes (PPM).
• High attention to detail – always ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, able to translate technical data into actionable insights.
• Problem-solving mindset – identifying gaps in data and developing solutions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
• An Asset Management Certificate is desirable but not essential.
