Job Description

The Senior AI Engineer role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic, growing company that is revolutionising the executive operations space through AI and innovative software. Located in Nottingham, UK, this hybrid position allows candidates to work both remotely and, in the office, with a requirement of 2 days per week at the Nottingham City Centre office.

Role Overview

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an AI chatbot integrated with core business systems, such as Calendar and Email management, using cutting-edge tools like Lang chain JS and Lang Graph JS. You’ll also play a key role in frontend development using Svelte Kit and Typescript to enhance the user experience of this chatbot. This role will allow you to work with multi-agent AI systems and build AI-driven solutions that automate complex workflows for executives. You’ll have a significant impact on the product's growth and evolution as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an AI chatbot that integrates with email and calendar systems.
  • Design and implement web applications using Svelte Kit and Typescript.
  • Leverage Lang chain JS and Lang Graph JS to build multi-agent AI systems.
  • Ensure AI ethics, data privacy, and secure software development are integrated into the product.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Work with OpenAI and other large language model (LLM) providers.
  • Implement front-end code and maintain excellent user experiences.
  • Ensure familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of AI systems with a focus on GDPR compliance and secure data handling.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience with building multi-Agent AI systems.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM providers (OpenAI).
  • Front-End Development expertise in Svelte Kit, along with CSS skills.
  • Strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and best practices in secure software development.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaborative skills.
  • Familiarity with Supa base and Postgres.
  • Awareness of GDPR and its impact on AI systems (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Effect TS and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
