About the Role

As a CDP Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising Customer Data Platforms that consolidate and activate customer data across multiple sources. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—spanning marketing, IT, and analytics—to ensure that the CDP integrates seamlessly with existing systems and drives actionable insights for personalised customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Architecture:Define and lead the technical strategy for CDP solutions that align with client business objectives.
  • Client Engagement:Collaborate with clients to gather data requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.
  • Solution Design & Implementation:Architect and oversee the deployment of data ingestion, storage, processing, and activation pipelines, ensuring data quality, governance, and security.
  • Integration & Collaboration:Work closely with MarTech, CRM, and e-commerce teams to create a unified, single customer view.
  • Technology Evaluation:Assess and recommend technologies, tools, and vendors that best meet the client's needs.
  • Workshops & Documentation:Lead solution design workshops and deliver comprehensive architectural documentation and client presentations.
  • Continuous Improvement:Stay updated on emerging trends in customer data management and data analytics, and integrate best practices into your solutions.

Skills and Experience

  • Substantial experience in data architecture, engineering, or related roles with a focus on customer data platforms or large-scale data integration projects.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing at least one of the major CDP solutions such as (SFDC, AEP, TresureData, Tealium etc).
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security best practices.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in customer data analysis.
  • Experience in a consulting or digital agency environment is a plus.
