Apprenticeship programmes are a great way to earn and learn. The Apprentice Data Analyst programme blends personal and professional development, giving you practical experience across teams and exposure to key business processes. Through a range of analytical workstreams, you will develop your ability to communicate data effectively to diverse stakeholders and support initiatives that improve river health and shape business decisions.


What You Will Learn

  • Interpret and analyse datasets from across the business, uncovering insights that drive programmes forward.
  • Integrate diverse datasets and identify opportunities hidden within seemingly unrelated information.
  • Create impactful dashboards and data visualisations that bring powerful river narratives to life.
  • Master effective data handling throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders on data‑driven programmes, delivering solutions and maintaining engagement until successful completion.

Programme Details

Location: Severn Trent Headquarters, Coventry, CV1 2LZ
Standard: Data Analyst
Level: 4
Duration: 24 months (excluding EPA)
Starting Salary: £22,500
Entry Criteria: Level 3 qualifications (A‑Levels, BTEC National, NVQ/SVQ Level 3, or Level 3 advanced apprenticeship)
