The Analytics Enablement Lead is a vital role that supports and guides federated and embedded analytics teams across the organisation, helping them turn data into insights. The Analytics Enablement Lead helps establish and enforce policies, standards, and practices for analytics excellence. They collaborate with federated and embedded analytics teams to create a community, standardise processes, and drive innovation in analytics.
A key part of this role also involves overseeing the transition from legacy analytics systems to modern, scalable analytics solutions, including tracking the deprecation of outdated analytics reports. Additionally, the Analytics Enablement Lead enables business stakeholders to access, use, and trust data products for data-driven decisions. They are a champion and evangelist of a data-driven culture and best practices, empowering teams to use data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytics Strategy and Policy Development:Develop a comprehensive data analytics strategy that aligns with our organization's overall goals and data strategy. Establish policies standards, and best practices for data analytics to ensure consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness across the organization.
Leadership in Analytics Community:Foster a strong community of practice among data analysts and business intelligence professionals across the organization, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning. Facilitate regular forums or workshops to discuss analytics trends, challenges, and opportunities for innovation
Management of Analytics Tools and Platforms:Collaborate with the Head of the Data Platform to ensure the analytics platform and tools meet the current and future needs of the organization. Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of analytics tools and platforms, ensuring they offer robust capabilities for data exploration, visualization, and advanced analytics.
Transition from Legacy Systems:Manage the systematic deprecation of legacy analytics reports and systems, ensuring a smooth transition to modern analytics solutions with minimal disruption to business operations.
What We Are Looking For:
Proven experience in leading data analytics functions, with a solid understanding of analytics methodologies, tools, and platforms. Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, including familiarity with regulatory requirements and business processes. Excellent leadership and community-building skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative environment among a diverse group of analytics professionals. Expertise in managing transitions from legacy systems to modern analytics platforms, including change management and stakeholder communication. Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating analytics strategies and engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Power BI/Microsoft Fabric, Omniscope essential.
