    The Team
    The AHL Investment and Data Implementation team are responsible for leading changes to, and day-to-day management of AHL’s quantitative models, systematic trading system and alternative and market data across all traded asset classes.
    The team work closely with portfolio managers, quantitative research, product structuring, technology, and external counterparties to ensure both the accurate implementation and launch of new research ideas, funds, and asset classes as well as the constant smooth running of the end-to-end systematic trading process.
    The open and collaborative nature of Man AHL makes it an ideal place to learn and develop an understanding of what is required to effectively run a systematic hedge fund. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects alongside experienced professionals. Interns will be provided with a mentor to help guide their development throughout the programme.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Work with peers across the IDI team and AHL to define and improve processes
    Using data analytics to visually represent structured and unstructured data to provide precise insight
    Leveraging technology to enhance, automate and streamline daily investment management processes
    Contribute to AHL's overall Investment and Data Implementation effort by collaborating with other teams across AHL
    Demonstrate a high level of autonomy to own the investigation of business problems and delivery robust solutions
    Skills and Attributes:
    Organised individual with the ability to multitask
    Intellectually curious and happy to challenge others’ opinions
    Excellent attention to detail
    Advantageous:
    Numerically literate with some experience writing in an object-oriented language, preferably python
    Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
