GMP Recruitment are proud to be in partnership with a highly successful privately owned company who specializes in the production, development and marketing of microbiological solutions. We are currently supporting the recruitment for our client based in Malvern, Worcestershire and looking for an experienced Production Administrator to join their team on a fixed term contract of 12/14 months.

This is a Full-time, position working Monday – Friday. 8:30am till 4:30pm (37.5 hours a week)

The salary on offer for this position is starting at £26,000 per annum. You will also receive excellent company benefits including the following, onsite parking, and pension contribution.

As a Production Administrator, it will be your job to prepare and process production orders, following procedures and quality controls. You will be responsible for the creation of labels and detailed overprinting. You will produce and process work instructions and production orders through the ERP system and enter and maintain data on Excel.

The ideal candidate for this will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar Administrator led role with knowledge of Excel, data integrity, customer service and quality. This position would be perfect for someone who has strong administrations skills and is looking to take the leap into a full time position to gain further experience.

Production Administrator Main duties:

  • Prepare and process production orders, following procedures and quality controls.

  • Creation of labels/ detailed overprinting.

  • Produce and process work instructions/production orders through the ERP system.

  • Enter and maintain data on Excel.

  • Proactively review data integrity, material shortages, stock outages, while processing production orders.

  • Identify process improvements within production process. Propose changes when needed.

  • Other general administrative tasks.

  • Promote and develop positive communication with all departments working closely particularly with Production, Customer Service and Quality Depts.

  • Work as part of a small team, providing cover and support.

    Production Administrator Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Happy to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Proficient IT skills to include MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (performs tasks with care, makes few if any errors, checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness. Remains aware and takes care of details that are easy to overlook or dismiss as insignificant).

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Demonstrates very effective listening, questioning and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures including prioritisation.

  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems. Desirable but not essential.

  • Experience with purchasing/planning/ERP. Desirable but not essential.
