To besuccessful as a Market Risk Developer , you should have experiencewith * Strong’ experience working as a .Net developer (C# or F#) *Experience working as a Full Stack Developer * Familiar with NoSQLdatabase solutions, e.g. MongoDB Some other highly valued skillsmay include * Data Analytics or Data Engineering experience *Familiar with UIWeb development * Experience of working in annvestment Bank (preferably in Market Risk Technology) *Appreciation for high quality code You may be assessed on the keycritical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk andcontrols, change and transformation, business acumen strategicthinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specifictechnical skills This role will be based in our London officePurpose of the roleTo design, develop and improve software,utilising various engineering methodologies, that providesbusiness, platform, and technology capabilities for our customersand colleagues.Accountabilities* Development and delivery ofhigh-quality software solutions by using industry alignedprogramming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code isscalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance. *Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers,and other engineers to define software requirements, devisesolution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignmentwith business objectives. * Collaboration with peers, participatein code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality andknowledge sharing. * Stay informed of industry technology trendsand innovations and actively contribute to the organization’stechnology communities to foster a culture of technical excellenceand growth. * Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigatevulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure softwaresolutions. * Implementation of effective unit testing practices toensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.Assistant Vice President Expectations* Consult on complexissues; providing advice to People Leaders to support theresolution of escalated issues. * Identify ways to mitigate riskand developing new policiesprocedures in support of the control andgovernance agenda. * Take ownership for managing risk andstrengthening controls in relation to the work done. * Perform workthat is closely related to that of other areas, which requiresunderstanding of how areas coordinate and contribute to theachievement of the objectives of the organisation sub-function. *Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned supportareas to keep up to speed with business activity and the businessstrategy. * Engage in complex analysis of data from multiplesources of information, internal and external sources such asprocedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).tosolve problems creatively and effectively. * Communicate complexinformation.
