Transformation Programme Director, Shared Services,Soft Facilities Management Customer Experience, is required by our public services client based in Central London.

Hybrid working-3 days a week in London.

In scope of IR35

Key experience:
•Extensive experience in leading transformational change programmes to provide customer-facing corporate services, shared services (e.g. facilities/estates, catering, retail etc.), putting in place new target operating models and organisation design.
•Proven leadership in driving transformational change, programme planning service improvement programmes planning having led programme implementation with full responsibility for achieving programme objectives.
•Experience in developing HM Treasury Greenbook business cases that clearly outline the quantitative benefits and successfully making the case for investment and achieving savings to deliver value for money.

The team is currently undergoing a transformative journey and requires an experienced interim leader and programme director to drive strategic change across Catering, Banqueting, and Retail operations.

The successful candidate will possess demonstrable expertise in strategic leadership spanning soft FM in addition to retail, hospitality and commercial services. You will be adept in providing world-class services with a track record of delivering change and transformation in a similar high-profile portfolio with high footfall. It would be an advantage to have experience with contract management of a soft services FM provision, working with a partner to extend excellence throughout the portfolio.

Communication and stakeholder management skills will need to be at an exceptional level.

The interim leader will be responsible for enhancing efficiency, sustainability, and service quality while ensuring operational excellence. This role will focus on innovation, process optimisation, and initiating a transformation programme to align with organisational goals and customer expectations.

The early focus of this work will be looking at the teams central functions, specifically Catering, Banqueting, and Retail operations and reviewing how they can best be structured to support the business.

As the Transformation Programme Director, you will then be required to develop an outline business case of what changes are required and will develop an implementation plan. This is a dual role of initially diagnosing/analysis but then also being able to operationalise and implement the agreed changes following the review
