Job Title: SQL Data Engineer

Location: UK Remote

Rate: Competitive daily rate, Outside IR35

Contract Length: 6 months initially

Who are we?

Enablis is a technology delivery consultancy who partner with clients to accelerate digital roadmaps and are currently engaged on a large-scale data migration project. This role requires expertise in scalable data warehousing, database optimisation, and efficient ETL processes, alongside a deep understanding of data structures, domains, and schemas.

Responsibilities:

Analyse and understand data structures, domains, and schemas across multiple systems.

Design and implement scalable data warehousing solutions.

Develop and optimise ETL processes and data pipelines for seamless data migration.

Write scripts and queries to facilitate the migration of user accounts, ensuring alignment with local regulations and data integrity.

Create and maintain scripts to support QA and testing processes.

Integrate data from multiple sources, including batch processing, streaming, and API integrations.

Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver compliant, data-driven solutions.

Apply deep knowledge of data architecture and analytics technologies.

Requirements:

Strong experience in SQL

Expertise in data warehousing concepts, architecture, and migration strategies.

Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks.

Familiarity with Kafka for streaming and data integration processes.

Proven ability to design and implement efficient ETL processes.

Hands-on experience with relational databases and large-scale data migration projects.
