Responsibilities

  • Grow the Technology Performance team through creating new insights and driving change.
  • Develop bold, coherent, globally aligned strategies that measure and improve the performance of our technology.
  • Define appropriate measures/KPIs and support the identification of appropriate data sources.
  • Interrogate data, identify insights and build strategies to unlock business value.
  • Ensure these strategies are communicated effectively with our partners (internal and external).
  • Sharing best practice with Market, Segment and Corporate teams.
  • Build data products such as PowerBI/Tableau dashboards and Python/SQL data pipelines and/or act in a product owner capacity with partners to deliver these capabilities.

Success Measures

  • Creating succinct, impactful and evidence-based insights that drives outcomes.
  • A measurable improvement in Technology Performance (e.g. restaurant stability and hardware compliance).
  • Promote the function and share key insights and results with a variety of internal business stakeholders and broader audiences using data visualization, reporting and dashboard technologies.
  • Manage a transparent backlog of work and prioritize competing demands effectively.
  • Partner with Market technology teams, and Global engineering, data and architecture teams to support specific project deliverables where necessary.
  • Share our best practices with our Global colleagues and importantly, ensure we are identifying and implement best practices already applied elsewhere.

About You

  • Experience answering difficult questions and presenting these insights to senior leaders, to drive change, likely via PowerPoint style presentations.
  • Experience building dashboard and reports using PowerBI and/or Tableau. Python knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience of driving business and cultural change that delivered defined and pre-determined value/benefits.
  • Ability to influence market and global partners to bring them round to your point of view.
  • A positive curious mind set, confidence, self-motivation, and logical problem solver.
  • Innovative and learning mind-set and is out to provide value for global technology business partners.
  • Ability to work as part of an Agile team, communicate progress daily and regularly present at different levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven record in fast paced and quick changing environment.
  • Strong communication skills including prioritizing, problem solving and interpersonal relationship.
  • Comfortable with making recommendations to internal and external stakeholders in a global environment.
  • Experience in basic change management including but not limited to trainings and workshops.
  • Ability to apply a simple approach to complex problem solving.
  • Feel comfortable working in a virtual environment where the team is spread over different locations.
  • Knowledge of retail and digital technologies is a plus.

Qualifications

  • BSc Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
