Role Description

We’re hiring a Junior Market Data Analyst to join our offshore team. The role involves collecting, processing, and analyzing market data to support key banking functions. You’ll work with risk, finance, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, identify trends, and deliver insights that drive decision‑making.

Responsibilities
  • Gather and validate market data from multiple sources
  • Analyse data to spot trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Create clear reports and insights for stakeholders
  • Maintain and improve data processes and systems
  • Support risk infrastructure changes and UAT testing
  • Collaborate across departments to meet data needs
Qualifications
  • Master’s in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience in market data or analytics (the description incorrectly states 13 years; adjust based on actual requirement)
  • Strong skills in Python, SQL, and Excel
  • Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities
  • Detail‑oriented and a strong team player
