Overview

Wireless Logic is looking for a skilled, driven, forward-thinking Data Developer/Engineer to own data engineering and development activities. You will join a Data Team at a high growth technology IoT connectivity provider driving a data vision and strategy across the group. This role designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using the Microsoft technology stack. Reporting into the Group Head of Data, you will help make the organization data-rich and data-driven by leveraging the strong foundations built by the data team to unlock data as a superpower for informed decision-making.


Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of data engineering tasks from ingestion to transformation and delivery.
  • Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using the Microsoft tech stack.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all systems.
  • Overcome barriers to delivery to support the business.

Data Infrastructure & Optimization
  • Design and maintain robust data models and storage solutions mainly using but not limited to SSIS, XML, T-SQL, & Python.
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs
  • Optimize performance of ETL/ELT processes and database queries.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for data workflows.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work closely with analysts to understand data needs.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Document data architecture and processes for transparency and scalability using DevOps.

Required
  • 3-4+ years of experience within data engineering roles
  • Experience with and appreciation for end-to-end Data & Analytics lifecycles.
  • A vision for how data and analytics could help people and teams achieve their outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An eye for the detail and excellent accuracy of work.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Effective organisation and time management skills
